Fellody is a social networking service that connects you with people who share your taste in music. It's quite simple: our system compares your taste in music with all the other members on fellody.com and there we go: you got match!

Ok, here's the story for the tech-lovers out there: fellody compares your music with that of all other members of fellody.com and as a result you'll get a ranking with your highest matches. But don't worry, songs you barely listen to won't be taken into account. Our system is quiet clever: it uses only the good stuff. And if you're kind of a control freak, you can even choose manually which of your music shall be matched (Just in case you have Britney on heavy rotation and don't want the rest of the world to know…)

Facebook?

Yes, we also have a small facebook app to warm you up. It's quite fun: you find out which of your friends have the highest match when it comes to music. Share it, have fun and play with it. Oh, we also have a Facebook-Fanpage so you can stay updated!

Think about it, music is one of the most influencing parts of our lives. It determines our (dress) style, our political view and often even our friends. Who's behind it?

Well, there's Tom who likes music, and there's Robin who likes music. They both spend most of their money on CDs and concerts, and now on fellody.com, of course. So one day at a go-team concert they realized that they would love to be friends with about 95% of all people there. Some waters where killed, brains exploited and there it was: the idea to match people online based on their taste for music.

Where are you guys located?

We're online, so there's no limit to our service. However, if you wanna have a coffee with us you might have to come to lovely Zurich, Switzerland. That's where our office is.

Is Fellody a Dating-Platform?

No. And yes. Our intention is not to be yet another site that tries to actively sell you a partner. But we give you the playground to find new people, some flirts and maybe even a new partner. But that's up to you. You can also just use it to check what your friends are doing.

Is it safe to install your client?

Of course. We do not and cannot check whether your music is legal or not, we have no access to anything else than to the information of your listening behavior. We do not roam your computer or install hidden files, we do not give any of the information to third parties or sell you that Pearl Jam album you're missing in your library. No, you only install a small app to be able to match your music with that of others.
